Egg crate closure

An egg crate closure, also known as a tension closure, is the closure we use for the final assembly of our products. Think of our jerry can bar or His & Hers gift set. An egg crate closure consists of 2 parts, the tab and the closure. These hook into each other when properly assembled. This ensures that the bar remains closed when it is being transported.

An egg crate closure can be used for many different purposes. We at Designed by Man use one to close and open our jerry cans. The closure is placed on a flat part of the jerry can. The tab is also placed on a flat part, but on the door of the jerry can. This way you could keep the jerry can closed the moment it hooks in. As a result, no items will fall out during transport. You can of course also use such a closure to keep other things closed if necessary.

The dimensions of the closure are 13x55mm and the closure is made of galvanized steel type V.
